ANNOUNCEMENT

The board of directors (the “Board”) of e-Kong Group Limited (the
“Company”) regrets to announce that Mr. Kuldeep Saran (“Mr. Saran”),
the Deputy Chairman and Managing Director of the Company, passed
away on 16 June 2007.
On behalf of all staff of the Company and its subsidiaries (collectively,
the “Group”), the Board expresses its deepest sorrow at the departure
of Mr. Saran and conveys its sincere condolences to his family. The
Board further expresses its sincere appreciation to Mr. Saran for his
invaluable leadership and contribution to the Group in the past.
The Board of the Company announces that Mr. Richard John Siemens,
the Chairman of the Company, will assume the responsibilities as the
Managing Director of the Company for the interim period until a further
decision is made by the Board of the Company.
