RESOLVES LITIGATIONS WITH KNOWLES ELECTRONICS LLC.

(7th December 2007 – Hong Kong) – AAC Acoustic Technologies Holdings Inc. and Knowles
Electronics LLC. have resolved the litigations between them in the United States and China,
and have entered into a world-wide cross-license agreement which reinforces the strength of the
companies’ patent portfolios. Terms of the agreement are confidential; however, there will be
no restrictions on sales of products from either company. This arrangement encourages more
competition and stimulates innovation.
