You forgot about the materials contract. CPSL is hard pressed to get all the materials they need in a timely manner for the production of precision steel. In other words, they have an instable supply of recycled steel coming in. Todays activity really showed the sector and especially YGE is way oversold. Next week should be better as the shorts will once again be scampering for cover. Volatility at it's best and definitely not for the feint of heart.
I would be very interested in seeing a comparison between CSIQ and YGE and why the huge difference in appreciation over the last few months.

My portfolio is solar heavy, (certainly feeling the weight right now) and YGE is my favourite solar company to own. I am down from an average of $24.64, and not worried. I still consider that price a bargain. YGE should be trading at $85. But then again, WS is biased against Chinese companies, so
Half of that is $42.50.

This should be trading for a buck...look at their assets and cash on hand. Really no reason for this to be under 90 cents, IMHO. Only a matter of time before it gets P&D'd again with inflation shooting up food prices.

operating income is quite stable... the problem is that they are not growing revenue. chinese inflation rate is higher than their revenue growth :(
nevertheles s, even without growth, the current price is very cheap. ($12.6 million net income in last 4 quarters, of which $6.7 million income from operations. not bad for a $45 million mktcap)

NWD's earnings are not stable thru quarters, their raw material price locking will expire in 2008, then the high raw material prices could negatively impact its business.
